A study on Analgesic , Anti-inflammatory Action and MCF-7 cell of Kamisodokeum(加味消毒飮) Water Extract ( KSEE )

Abstract

|
The purpose of this research was to investigate effect of Kamisodokeum Water Extract(KSEE) on the analgesic, anti-inflammatory action and the proliferation of MCF-7 cells. KSEE inhibited the writhing syndrome induced by acetic acid, the permeability of evans blue into peritoneal cavity and cotton pellet granuloma formation. KSEE inhibited the mouse paw edema induced by histamine after 60 min. KSEE increased the proliferation of Balb/c 3T3 cells at 100㎍/㎖. KSEE did not affect on the proliferation of MCF-7 cells.
These results suggest that KSEE has the analgesic action and anti-inflammatory action.
